The Press and Journal has written an incredible review for Pineapple Grill & Seafood Restaurant.
Hailed as “a love letter to Scottish produce” they awarded us 14/15.
Some of their highlights were –
“The Fraserburgh Crab Starter tasted as good as it looked. The Sea Trout was mild, delicate and subtle working wonderfully with the punchier flavours of orange and fennel. The Halibut was light and flaky and cooked to perfection with silky scallops. The Venison main had tender cuts of loin and braised haunch of venison pie with earth Swiss chard, every element combined to work beautifully. It was hard to put into the words the Pineapple White Chocolate Mousse with coconut cremeaux and coriander. It was dessert heaven. The star of the show on the Scottish Cheeseboard was the Lavender Honey with chunks of honeycomb.”
This is the result of a lot of hard work by our talented Executive Chef Alan Clarke and his team. To get a “mystery” review which tells a beautiful story of our menu, is truly incredible.
