Lady Meldrum’s Afternoon Tea
Time for Tea
Afternoon Tea was introduced as far back as 1840 by Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford. We’d like to think Afternoon Tea has been served here at Meldrum House ever since and we’ve become renowned for serving one of the best around. We serve Afternoon Tea from Monday to Saturday in our Pineapple Grill & Seafood restaurant from 1pm to 3pm. If it’s a special occasion, why not hire one of our luxury outdoor domes where it is served Monday to Saturday from 12 noon until 5pm.
This Summer, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we will be abuzz with news of the most special Afternoon Tea, inspired by Bridgerton. From Wednesday 8th of June, join us at the pinnacle of the social season and revel in regency splendour with our unique offering from £28 per person. Enjoy an Afternoon Tea fit for royalty with our selection of sandwiches, scrumptious savouries and an array of sweet treats created by our talented Head Pastry Chef Alanna. Of course no occasion is complete without a choice of unlimited tea or coffee. Celebrating? Simply add a crisp chilled glass of fizz or be tempted by scandal with our Signature cocktail or mocktail. This diary will allow you to book drinks in Titan Sky Bar, Brunch in 1236, Afternoon Tea in the manor house and dinner in Pineapple and 1236. If no availability shows, this means we are at full capacity and no longer accepting bookings.
Kid's Afternoon Tea
We know kids love a sweet treat. So, bring them with you to Meldrum House and allow them to enjoy our bunny themed Afternoon Tea. We bring the sandwiches and savouries out first served with a choice of fresh orange or apple juice. Then we bring out some beautifully made sweet treats by our talented Pastry Chef including a gooey marshmallow mushroom, carrot cake, Peter Rabbit shortbread and chocolate brownie pot.
£12 per child and for children aged 12 and under only.
