Named after the Seton family, whose legacy forms part of Meldrum House’s remarkable history, this is a restaurant shaped by place and provenance. Just as the Setons once welcomed guests to the estate, today we carry that same spirit forward. Like the great households that came before us, our menus are rooted in the Shire landscape around us, drawing on the finest ingredients from the land, sea and countryside and celebrating the farmers, fishermen, growers and artisans whose exceptional produce defines every season.
Rather than reinventing Scottish dining, we're celebrating it. Familiar dishes are elevated through exceptional produce, careful craftsmanship and thoughtful presentation. From Peterhead haddock and Scottish shellfish to Aberdeen Angus beef – every dish has a sense of place. Even our signature sharing pies draw on Scottish culinary heritage, transforming nostalgic recipes intro theatrical centrepieces designed to bring people together.

"Growing up in the countryside and around farms is where my love of food first began. From an early age it taught me the value of great local produce and the people behind it. Aberdeenshire is a unique place, surrounded by some of Scotland’s best farming communities and I'm passionate about working with local suppliers to showcase the incredible quality and provenance that the region has to offer."
