At Meldrum house we know that the best countryside escapes are the ones shared with the whole family. So while you enjoy the comforts of the house of the freedom of the estate, rest assured our four-legged guests are just as welcome as their owners.
A selection of our Stables bedrooms are dog friendly, offering the perfect base for exploring the Aberdeenshire countryside together. A supplement of £25 per dog, per stay, applies, and on arrival your faithful companion will be welcomed with a cosy Stocky & Dee dog bed, water bowl and a special selection of treats to help them settled in.
Looking for make your stay even more special? Our Pawsome Escape package includes a two-night stay with a full Scottish breakfast each morning, alongside all the thoughtful touches your dog will appreciate plus a £50 dining credit to enjoy during your visit. If you do book this package, there are plenty of ways to use your dining credit, including spending a relaxed evening in the Cave Bar together as well-behaved dogs are welcome, or retire to the comfort of your room and take advantage of our delicious room service menu. If your dog is comfortable being left to unwind in your room while you dine then settle in Seton’s, or lastly for more of an occasion our dining domes are also dog friendly when booked for private events (please note that this does not extend to Titan Sky Bar).
Step outside and discover 240 acres of beautiful grounds. With woodland walks, open countryside and space to explore the estate, there’s plenty of opportunities for long walks, fresh air and muddy paws.
To hep protect the estate for everyone, we kindly ask that dogs remain on the designated pathways and are kept away from the golf course. We also ask that owners clean up after their dogs throughout their stay by using the designated bins around our grounds.
