Alan Clarke is our Executive Chef here at Meldrum House Country Hotel and joined us in September 2021.
Aged 30 and originally from Forres, Clarke forged his career path when he won the Chef’s UK Accor Challenge Award for Britain, aged only 21. He then honed his skills under Shirley Spear, the renowned previous owner of The Three Chimneys in Skye, helping them retain their 3 AA Rosettes.
Now he is in charge of our two Red Rosette restaurant called Pineapple Grill & Seafood, casual dining in 1236 in our Cave Bar our four luxury dining domes and Titan Sky Bar as well as all the food for all our weddings and events which take place in our Ballroom.
He favours using Scottish produce with a French twist and continues to make Meldrum House one of Aberdeenshire’s top foodie destinations.
