Escape and unwind with our exclusive one night package

Check in for your stay at Reception and in the afternoon, close to our hotel and within the historic market town of Oldmeldrum, is a world-class Suntory Global Spirits distillery.

Sheltered within the Valley of Garioch and renowned for the finest barley growing area in the country, Glen Garioch Distillery is one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland.  Dating back to 1797, they produce award-winning whiskies in small, precious batches.  In 2021 they heavily invested in the distillery, where they returned to the more traditional production processes whilst introducing new cutting-edge technology for direct-fire distillation.

Their tours are legendary and only half a mile from the hotel.  We’ve teamed up with them to include their Founder’s Tour in our special promotion where you can discover the beating heart of this distillery and nearly 230 years of craftsmanship that goes into every bottle.  The tour takes 1.5 hours.

After the tour, head back to the hotel for dinner at night in either our 800-year-old Cave Bar* or Pineapple Grill & Seafood Restaurant*. After a restful night’s sleep, enjoy a full Scottish breakfast before departure.
