THE EXPERIENCE
Set in 240 acres of grounds & surrounded by parklands that are the home to Meldrum House Country Hotel and Golf Club, our 4-star 13th century baronial manor house is steeped in history. We offer a wonderful romantic setting and a stunning backdrop for your wedding reception. If it is an intimate occasion for family only we would suggest one of our well-appointed dining rooms located in the original manor house or private hire of our stunning Titan Sky Bar with 360 degree views. For a grander scale celebration then our ballroom & private arrival foyer with floor to ceiling views over our estate is the perfect place. Whatever you are looking for, we can tailor to your every need.
Here at Meldrum House Hotel, our dedicated Wedding Manager offers you a personalised service and is your one point of contact from the first enquiry up until the wedding day, where your celebrations will be well taken care of by our award-winning operations team. Our Wedding Manager will be on hand at any point during the planning process to answer any questions you may have in regard to the wedding day, pre-wedding celebrations or bedroom requirements.
We are confident that Meldrum House offers a unique environment & location for your special day, ensuring you & your guests receive the best standard of service from the very first moment you arrive.
THE FOOD
Our Executive Chef Alan Clarke, has personally created a host of items for you to ensure your guests enjoy the best of what Meldrum House has to offer. Your culinary journey may begin the night prior, with our pre-wedding buffet aimed at ensuring your guests all head to their room for the night feeling well fed & relaxed. Or, it may start off the morning of your wedding, where our breakfast options are available to be delivered direct to your room door.
Your guests can then enjoy the outlook over our fantastic grounds in the Ballroom foyer with a selection of hand prepared canapes and a glass of champagne whilst you have some breathtaking pictures taken in our stunning grounds.
The day then moves into the Ballroom for a beautifully presented wedding breakfast for your first meal as a married couple. We have a wide variety of options available for your menu to choose from, all of which can be adjusted to suit your own personal taste and we can also cater for any dietary requirements you or your guests may have. Our evening buffets are served in the foyer and offer a wide variety of items from traditional stovies, bacon rolls or our mouthwatering street food options to give everyone a much needed energy boost to keep them on the dancefloor until the end of the night.
Meldrum House Hotel also offer all confirmed weddings the chance to sample our amazing food offerings in advance of the wedding day, to ensure that the choices you have made for you & your guests are exactly what you had pictured. Our Wedding Manager will be in touch around 16 weeks prior to the wedding date to invite you to one of our ‘Taste of Meldrum’ experience evenings.
