144 players travelled to Meldrum House to compete in the Scottish Men’s Open Championship from 1st to 4th June, 2023.  The first day was a practice round and then 18-hole of strokeplay on the Friday and Saturday before the top 40 players, competed over 36-holes on the Sunday, for the trophy.

A number of these players were looking to impress GB & Ireland’s 2023 Walker Cup team selectors and 16 year old winner, Connor Graham, headed to St Andrews to compete for the Links Trophy after winning at Meldrum House, with hopes to score well, as it is one of the most coveted prizes in amateur golf.

Connor is the youngest of 19 players earmarked as a contender to represent the 49th Walker Cup and the Blairgowrie player won the R&A Junior Open last year.
