Meldrum House Golf Club extends a warm welcome to guests staying at the hotel.

These following statements are for your guidance:

Tee Times and Handicaps

Do not be late for your tee-off time. If you are in any doubt please get reception to confirm your tee time. All guests are required to present a current handicap certificate. If this is not possible a guest may be asked to demonstrate their ability to a member of the professional staff at the teaching centre.

Club Facilities

All guests can enjoy unlimited access to the driving range. Guests may use the Clubhouse facilities provided they have paid the requisite green fee. All tees are available for use at Meldrum House Golf Club. Players will have more enjoyment from their game and play will be faster if they accept the advice of the starter and play from the tees appropriate to their ability.

Dress Code

The club’s dress code will be strictly enforced. Hotel guests must be appropriately dressed at all times in the vicinity of the Clubhouse, teaching centre or when on the course. In particular the following should be observed:

1. All clothes made of denim material are prohibited
2. Shorts are permitted, but only if tailored (no football shorts)
3. Men’s collarless shirts, sleeveless shirts or football shirts are not allowed
4. Track suit tops or bottoms are not permitted
5. No trainers or golf shoes are allowed in the Clubhouse and no trainers are allowed on the course. Training shoes are permitted on the mats in the practice ground

Golf Carts

All players using electrical golf carts or buggies must observe the rules of cart usage and must read and obey signs at all times. Carts are not allowed on or near tees or in any area around the greens. Players not complying with these rules will be asked to leave the course.

Footwear

Golf shoes are the only permitted footwear on the course. Meldrum House Golf Club strongly recommends soft spikes. Metal spikes are permitted but can be exchanged for soft spikes at the professional shop. No other form of footwear is permitted on the course. No exceptions will be made to this rule.
